- Methemoglobinemia: One of the significant potential risks of Methylene Blue is its ability to cause methemoglobinemia, a condition in which the oxygen-carrying capacity of blood is reduced due to the formation of methemoglobin. This condition can lead to symptoms such as shortness of breath, headache, dizziness, and bluish skin color. Individuals with a deficiency in glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) enzyme are more susceptible to methemoglobinemia.
- Interactions with Medications: Methylene Blue can interact with various medications, including certain antidepressants (such as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors - SSRIs, serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors - SNRIs, and monoamine oxidase inhibitors -MAOIs). These interactions can lead to a potentially serious condition called serotonin syndrome, characterized by symptoms like agitation, confusion, rapid heart rate, elevated blood pressure, and more.
- Gastrointestinal Effects: Some individuals may experience gastrointestinal side effects when taking Methylene Blue, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach discomfort.
- Discoloration: Methylene Blue can cause temporary blue or greenish-blue discoloration of bodily fluids, including urine, skin, and mucous membranes. This is usually harmless and will resolve in a short period of time.
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: There is limited information about the safety of Methylene Blue during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Equipment Return Requirements
- Equipment must be returned in accordance with the policy listed for that specific item.
- All original packaging, manuals, parts, and accessories must be included.
- Items showing signs of misuse, abuse, or damage not caused during shipping may not be eligible for return.
Return Authorization
For equipment that ships directly from the manufacturer, a Return Authorization (RA) is required before returning your item. Please contact us before shipping any equipment so we can provide the correct return instructions and destination.
Returns sent without prior authorization may be delayed or refused.
How to Initiate a Return
- Contact our customer service team to request a Return Authorization and return shipping instructions.
- Securely package your item, including a copy of your packing slip or order information if available.
- Ship the item to the return address we provide.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is damaged, defective, or shipped in error.
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected, eligible refunds will be processed within 3 business days.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Depending on your financial institution, it may take up to 4 weeks for the refund to appear on your statement.
Any applicable restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible and include photos of the product and packaging.
Once confirmed, we will promptly arrange a replacement or issue a full refund. No restocking fee will apply, and we will cover the return shipping costs.
